Dr. Wael Haddara

Dr. Wael Haddara is the medical director of the surgical intensive-care unit at University Hospital and teaches at Western University in London, Ontario. Dr. Haddara's interests include Middle Eastern politics and Islamic issues.

Dr. Basma Abdelgafar

Dr. Abdelgafar completed her Ph.D. in Public Policy from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She has 20 years of experience in research analysis and public policy in government and 10 years of academic teaching and supervising experience in undergraduate and graduate studies. Dr. Abdelgafar's research interests include public policy, Islamic governance, and global affairs and she has published several articles and a book on these topics. Her most recent work is titled, Public Policy Beyond Traditional Jurisprudence

Khaled Al-Qazzaz

Khaled Al-Qazzaz has a Masters of Applied Sciences in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto (UofT), Canada and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration at Walden University, USA. Khaled is also the co-founder of the Al-Qazzaz Foundation for Education and Development. Khaled is passionate about social change and education, which is why he started many different initiatives on UofT campus like the Students for World Justice Committee and organizing events with the Anti-Racism & Cultural Diversity Office. Khaled founded IRSS to encourage the exchange of knowledge between academics and as a vehicle to bring positive policy change for Muslims in North America.
