In 2018, IRSS published its first major research study in collaboration with and under the research supervision of Dr. Katherine Bullock of The Tessellate Institute, an independent research institute that explores the lived experiences of Muslims in Canada.

“Jewish Responses to Anti-Semitism in Canada: Lessons for Anti-Muslim Hatred", authored by award-winning writer, academic and advocate Nakita Valerio, compares the experiences of both Jews and Muslims with hatred. This study, which relies on newspaper and police reports, meta-studies by academics, statistical reports, and organic interviews among Jewish-Canadian advocates, offers key lessons for Muslim advocacy groups to either continue or begin to implement certain strategies when combatting anti-Muslim hatred.

Since our founding in 2018, we have been dedicated to providing governments and Islamic organizations with valuable policy analysis and recommendations.
