CMW-KW Youth Needs Assessment Report Presentation

Room E, Kitchener Public Library 85 Queen St N Room E Kitchener, ON N2H 2H1
17 Jun 2023

Join the Coalition of Muslim Women (CMW) of KW at 1 p.m. in Room E at KPL Central Library on Saturday, June 17, to support racialized youth in carving their own identities as Canadians.

The two-hour event will highlight the outcomes of a youth needs assessment, a collaborative effort of the Region of Waterloo Muslim Youth Council and the Institute for Religious and Socio-Political Studies (I-RSS). Our speaker, Nakita Valero, Research Director at I-RSS, will share the results, presenting Muslim youth’s needs, concerns, and challenges, and answer questions about the findings.

All Waterloo Region youth aged 14-25, parents, community members, community organizations, and institutions working with youth are invited. Free parking is available in the parking lot across the library on weekends. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
