About this Event

SISTERS’ DIALOGUE – Keep the Conversation Going about Islamophobic Attacks in YEG

In recent months, there were 4 incidents of assaults on Muslim women in what EPS called “hate motivated” attacks. This is a troubling development in Edmonton. Sisters’ Dialogue sees the need to address the growing anxiety and outrage following these attacks as well as address related issues.

Join this Zoom online event where our diverse panelist of sisters will share their lived experiences with discrimination and Islamophobia. Also, learn about the mental health toll on our community; identify appropriate legal recourse; discuss possible policy recommendations; and also understand effective allyship.

Please register on Eventbrite and you will be sent a Zoom link closer to the event on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
