The past two days have been wonderful as I-RSS participated in the Chester Ronning Centre International Fellows Conference on “Islamophobia and/in Post-Secular States” at University of Alberta. I-RSS Executive Director/Founder Khaled AlQazzaz and Research Director Nakita Valerio presented on Approaches to Disrupting Islamophobia in Canada. The discussions had during the conference were brilliant for balancing theoretical understanding with actionable, research-based methods for approaching this all-encompassing issue. We look forward to continuing the conversation in a forthcoming edited volume for the conference in 2022.
