It was an incredible panel on October 28, 2021, co-organized with the Chester Ronning Center for the Study of Religion and Public Life at the University of Alberta, on the topic of Muslims and Multiculturalism in Canada. Co-hosts I-RSS Research Director Nakita Valerio and CRC Post-Doctoral Fellow Dr. Sharmin Sadequee had a very rich and critical conversation with Drs. Evelyn Hamdon and Sabreena Ghaffar-Siddiqui on the project of multiculturalism in a climate of Canadian Islamophobia.
